AWESOME SERVICE

Staff friendly! They keep you informed on time and service. They offer you drinks, snacks, and also if going to take day or more a car. If you need to go somewhere while car is in shop they offer to take you. They wash and vacuum your vehicle if you want. I get pampered and love it.

Oil change

Awesome Service, awesome staff, awesome dealership!! Oil change didn’t take long and they threw in a free vacuum and car wash just because we are loyal customers.

CARJACKED?!?

After a 30 minute or so oil change and tire rotation, my car "vanished for 3 hours!!!" No one would tell me where it was or why it was gone. They just ignored me! After 3 hours, my car reappeared. . . DAMAGED!!!! They did NOTHING ABOUT IT AND overcharged me for the oil change !! The receptionist was pleasant, so was Mary, who checked me in. That was the ONLY thing positive about my experience.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Absolute ripoff.

A complete and total ripoff. They wanted to charge me $4000 for a job that cost $2500 at another local mechanic. Terrible service. They largely ignored me when I was there. Save yourself and go ANYWHERE ELSE.

Damaged my Car

A jack mistake during routine maintenance damaged the body of my car. Nobody bothered to tell me when it happened and I didn't notice until I got home and my husband immediately pointed it out. There is absolutely no way they could not have noticed they did it being right on top of it changing a tire. It happened March 1st and it did not get fully repaired until April 2nd. Utterly ridiculous. It almost always took me making contact to see what was taking so long, never getting calls from them. One excuse after another. Messages not getting relayed to the right people. Parts painted the wrong color. Very disappointing! They are the nicest people you'll ever meet but very unprofessional when it comes to a big issue such as this, unfortunately. I understand people make mistakes and we haven't had issues there the two times before but I'm not sure after that ordeal I would ever take it there again. Management did submit a claim to corporate and acknowledge it was their fault so they did cover the repair cost. A dealership should know the process of jacking up a sports car. I was told they would review this with the employees....so I'll give you a star for at least owning up to the mistake and making it right and otherwise being decent people.

Weird random issue!

My car did something weird and it took three visits for it to get fixed correctly, but this last time we finally got it done. They were able to track the problem back to be covered by the warranty.

Best Service Around

My experience was being met by a friendly face, asked what I required for my auto, and shown to the waiting area which is nicely stocked with drink and snacks. My Auto Service was done quickly and professionally (meaning no grease in my car mats or seats). My little Buick came back shining like a new car and running smoothly. Tires needed air before I went in, all taken care of! I trust Superior Chevrolet with my car which is very important to me. Trust was earned the first visit. Superior is the only place I will take My Car. Thanks Staff and Service you are all terrific!

We took our Suburban into Superior to have some service work done. They were quick to figure out what all we needed to have done. They had our vehicle ready the very next day and we were very pleased with the work, the quick turnaround and the employees were all very friendly. They either want your $, don't know anything, or don't care?

(2008 Chevy HHR serviced) I had to leave the state very quickly and I couldn't stay to allow the dealership to address the issues the failed to address during my service visits. I trusted the dealership to make correct diagnoses and to perform quality work when I should not have. Other GM dealerships do not seem to be willing to honor the "warranty" on the work that was performed. Mechanics/technicians don't seem to know how to properly diagnose issues, they simply say things to the service representative to lead you down the wrong direction with many costly and unnecessary repairs, and they didn't listen to me when I gave them the specifically diagnosed issues. The service representative was okay, but the gap between customer service on the front end, and the misunderstandings of the technicians and between the service reps seems to be the biggest issue with a repair that I had. The technicians seemed to have done good work on most of the repairs except the vehicle alignment that was required after they stated the "control arms were warped" was done incorrectly (despite documentation from the computer showing it's in good shape.) The vehicle still very rigidly pulled to the right after getting out of the lot; however, alignments aren't warrantied according to other GM dealerships, so I was out of luck there. The wobble when braking was incorrectly addressed by trying to fix the aforementioned control arms and aligning the tires. While this seems logical, I clearly stated to the service technician that the issue was in the rotors, and that they had 135k miles and never been replaced/surfaced. They insisted it was the control arms. I assumed they were correct and allowed the service. I went to another mechanic and they showed me the rotors were warped; thus confirming my original suspicion. The service techs insisted my AC compressor needed replacement after I told the service representative that the issue was an idler pulley, as I've diagnosed several issues in older vehicles like this before. Again, assuming they were correct, this suggested fix should've worked.. After a second opinion with a better mechanic It turns out the idler pulley was about to fall off, and the parts had rusted to the point of near failure.. The service techs and/or representative failed to mention the giant hole in the fender that was cut out for unknown reasons. The service techs failed to properly diagnose the heater issues with the vehicle. They did see and nicely repair the issues to the radiator that were very evident; however, they made no attempt at further diagnosing the heater system to see if that could've been the only issue. After several hours of my time in an Autozone parking lot, I discovered it was the blend door switch that was broken. The service tech and rep seemed to suggest that it was the heater core as the most likely cause. This again, points to the lack of proper knowledge and technical diagnostic skills necessary to make competent repairs. After financing 3,600$ and an additional 700$ cash for "my" own diagnosis repairs (the 700$ went a lot further than the 3,600 did for sure), and the inability to have the work honored at other dealers I feel safe to say that I will never go back to a GM dealership with my vehicle despite nearly 7 years of reliable service with this specific service center.

I paid for a service that was not fixed

Back in March of 2018 my truck had a miss I took it in to Crain Chevrolet they said I had oil coming in to two of my spark plugs.I was informed that if they changed out valve cover and a few other minor details it would be fixed.Not the case been in multiple times with my engin light on and a miss they would tell me it would be a censor they would replace it still would miss.Then my truck got to missing so bad and also engine light came on then I went back on the August 6.Told John Bryan the service Rep this was ridiculous Please get the problem fixed then he came back and let me know the original problem was not fixed but I was charged another 150.00 dollers to change out another spark pluge But Mr.John Bryan Was kind enough to give me another estimate Of 5200.00 dollers to fix the problem that never got fixed in the first place he also said he would talk to the service tech and call me back that day but he never did I glad I didn’t hold my breath still waiting on my call

Transmission

Expensive oil change

I was quoted $49.95 for an oil change (no tire rotation) for my car and received a "free" car wash, yet my total bill was $80. Please make sure all fees are stated up front. On a positive note, the wait time was only 30 minutes with a scheduled appointment.
