I called the service parts for a very strange request. As a school counselor, students have a difficulty managing their emotions. I came up with the ideal to use their brake samples to help students and teachers recognize students emotions to help regulation. I called and explain Jason Trent that I saw this item on display when my car was serviced and what I needed it for. Trent right away ordered me the breaks to use at school. Thanks Jason Trent.

My husband and I bought the RX 450h. We are loving it! Hendrick Lexus KS North has the cars you'll love. They provide great facilities and service. Most of all, you will be in really good hands with NJ (Nouhad Jalloul) taking care of you - Ask for him! He is very accommodating and friendly, and he won't try to shove a sale down your throat. You'll be smiling from your first test drive to your final drive home with your new car.

Steal your car if you question work...

I paid this dealer over $2200 to remove overspray from asphalt on my LX 470. They called me to inform me the vehicle was ready my wife and I had to reschedule very important work meetings, only to show up to find they have done absolutely nothing to the vehicle! After I chewed their xxx for wasting mine and my wife’s time. They called me the very next morning to inform me the car had been stolen. They also reminded I paid this dealer over $2200 to remove overspray from asphalt on my LX 470. They called me to inform me the vehicle was ready my wife and I had to reschedule very important work meetings, only to show up to find they had done absolutely nothing to the vehicle! After I chewed their xxx for wasting mine and my wife’s time. They called me the very next morning to inform me the car had been stolen. I was advised of a police report number and told to make a claim on my insurance. I was also reminded that they were not responsible for any personal items left in the vehicle! You call this a Lexus dealership? The general manager David is also extremely rude, lacks customer service skills And wonders why his entire staff has a piss poor attitude. Well sir, attitude reflects leadership!

BUYER BEWARE MISREPRESENTATION AND UNSAFE TRUCK

I called the dealership on Wednesday asking for an appointment to see a Red Dodge 2006 Dakota 80,000 miles and then followed up with them on Friday (the day I was coming). On Friday I confirmed my appointment at 3 pm. I drove over 2 hrs to get to the dealership. The truck was parked out front and was very pretty. I asked to look at the truck and they lead me out to truck. I then asked to drive it. THEY SAID NO. I then asked why not. That is when the misrepresentation started. I was told they were waiting on a part they ordered for the brakes but it had not come in and then I was told they just found the problem a few minutes prior to me arriving. I asked if they could fix it so it was drivable. They then took the truck to service it. I was told several stories over the next 2 hrs. I was told the part was already on the truck and all parts were in place . They said they just needed to bleed the brakes From experience, I know that does not take 2 hrs. After 2 hrs, they said I could drive it. I was very skeptical on this. I tested the brakes first. The truck jerked constantly and the brakes were bad. I almost missed the dealership driveway d/t to the brakes. I then tested the transmission. The truck jerked enough that my 2 YR OLD ask why it was jerking.. The truck started making noises then like belts were bad. I told the salesman I just wanted to get out of the truck because it was dangerous. I CANNOT BELIEVE THEY WOULD ALLOW ME MY SISTER AND A 2 YR OLD TO GET IN A VEHICLE THAT WAS NOT SAFE. When I stopped the vehicle and opened the door the smell of burnt rubber was very strong and the truck smelled hot. The salesman went and got his manager. The manager said "I JUST DON'T SEE WHY YOU ARE SO MAD" WELL THAT MADE ME VERY MAD. A 2 YR OLD CAN SEE THE TRUCK WAS NOT SAFE BUT THE MANAGER CANNOT. IN MY OPINION,HE SHOULD LOSE HIS JOB FOR PUTTING ME IN AN UNSAFE TRUCK. THEN THEY ASKED IF I WANTED THEM TO CALL ME WHEN IT WAS FIXED. I TOLD THEM TO LOSE MY NUMBER I WOULD NEVER BUY FROM THEM. TOO MANY "STORIES" FOR ME.

Ruth Kissee and Nouhad Jalloul (NJ) are great employees

I drove into the Lexus lot looking for a Toyota Highlander and found one there about a week ago! I tried Lexus because of Ruth Keissee, for she is a great person who appraises damaged vehicles for the Collision Repair, and she had appraised two vehicles for me that had been damaged; I figured she was good, and maybe I would find a good sales person as well there at the dealership. Nouhad was great; I arrived around 5:45 pm at the lot, he went with me on a test drive, and arranged for me to take the vehicle overnight to test drive it with my wife. He helped me throughout the buying process. I would heartily recommend Nouhad as a salesman, and also you should see Ruth Kessee if you have any vehicle body damage. I will work with both again in the future if the needs arise!!! Also Robb Walter and Mike Arnone were very effective and professional.

Bad Service

I took my car in for service on 7/14/15 got a call back and was told it would not be ready till the 16th. I told them that i could not get my car on that day because i was going out of town. I was told don't worry about it just pick it up when you get back in town. I was told my car would be secured. when i go to pick my car up on the 20th my car was broken into. They told me it would all be fixed. I didn't get my car back till the 25th and it was still not right. The driver door had paint damage to it and when they put in the new window the door panel was also damaged. There was water in my car from when it rained the night my car was broken to. The service manger Justin Ayers told me that if the car had more than a broken window that it would be my insurance that would have to fix it. Also the day i went to pick up my car i noticed that my driver side wheels had be damaged. I was told to come back on monday and talk to Justin Ayers. He told me that they would take care of everything. I took my car back to them on the 3rd of Aug. I got a call on the 5th saying my car was ready. When i got their the door panel was not fixed and the out side paint had not been fied also. The wheels where never touched. I was told be Justin Ayers that they had tried to fix them. When i asked to speak to to Justin he had already gone home for the day at 3 in the afternoon. I asked to speak to the GM Ken Newman and told him what was going on and he call Justin. After talking to Justin and Ken they both stated that the damage to my wheels was pre-existing damage and it would not be fixed by them. I was told that i would have to buy new wheels out of my own pocket. This after i was told be Justin on 7/27/15 that Lexus would take care of it. I would not take my car to Hendrick Lexus Kansas City North. They don't have cameras on the outside of the building and don't pay anybody to secure their parking lot at night.

Non-negotiable, SUPRISINGLY disorganized

My husband and I recently bought a vehicle from Hendrick Lexus North and got close to 10 e-mails asking to write a review, which I kept putting off, but here it is... First of all, the dealer came at us with an offer on a trade-in value for my car, a 2007 Mazda6 (KBB value of $4500), at $500.....roughly what it cost to put 4 new tires on it a couple months before. By the way, I sold it to a private party for $3,250. They wouldn't even reconsider offering more for the trade-in. On top of that, they were incredibly non-negotiable on the price of a 2013 Lexus RX350, no matter what we counter-offered - even offering to pay cash in full. We couldn't agree on the price of the 2013 so I looked at a 2010 and decided to go with that. A few days after purchasing, the dealership e-mails me an attachment of our loan document because they had misplaced it or accidently shredded their copy of our signed loan contract. I had to go out of my way to get it printed off and taken back to the dealership. We had to schedule a separate time to get the delivery on the car and remote start put in so my husband called up there to do that. I even got an e-mail confirmation for the appointment. When he got there, they didn't have the delivery scheduled on their calendar, so the person who normally does it wasn't available. He never got a proper delivery. The thing that has me most compelled to finally write this review is what happened today. When my husband went to get the car licensed, the license bureau informs us that the car has a lean on it from the previous owners. This was never disclosed to us OR included in the paperwork sent to us from the dealership. My husband called the dealership to ask about it and they insist that the lean paperwork was in the packet, but it was NOT. I plan on having a Lexus for the rest of my life, trading it in after a few years. This dealership will NEVER get our business again and I will NOT be recommending this to anyone I know looking for a Lexus. It's a shame there aren't more Lexus dealerships around where we live but we will be traveling to St. Louis or Springfield next time.

I just bought my first Lexus. I bought it from Hendrick Lexus Kansas City North. I worked with Samh Youssef. I highly recommend him to anyone that wants to buy a Lexus. It was probably the best experience I have ever had buying a car. He took the time to get to know me and knew exactly what I wanted - a pre-owned Lexus with 10,000 or less miles. He shopped until he found the exact car I was looking for. He is respectful and is a straight shooter. I guarentee you will enjoy working with him!

The total buying experience from my initial contact for an appointment thru the entire sales process was singularly Outstanding. Bravo to Sameh Youssef's salesmanship approach of being able to communicate solid knowledge of his product, in this case a Toyota Avalon, and his company's willingness and ability to service it thru the duration of ownership. The professionalism that was exhibited, not just by Sameh, but from each and every staff member with whom I had dealings during the entire purchase process made this a pleasant, non-pressure venture. I look forward now to the top notch Customer Service that I'm sure I will receive.
