Horrible not even worth one star but I couldn’t submit

Horrible customer service! They give you the run around about everything including not calling you back about your car that they have in service. We called and left 2 messages with no return call back then finally called again and got someone on the phone. They told us the car wouldn’t be ready until the next morning and that the car was at HourGlass but wasn’t sure what location. Really you don’t know where someone’s car is. I will never buy another car from BMW of Tulsa again. If you are reading this I warn you not to do it! If you ask for a manager your told it’s one person then come to find out it’s not.

Problem Fixed

EDIT: Jay Moore the General Manager gave me a call and was extremely apologetic and very nice. He is working to make this right. I have come across many dealers that the GM and sales managers that will hide and ignore the problem. I am very happy with how this was handled so this is why I have changed my score and update the review on the situation. Saw a used MDX online that was about $1,000 less then anything we had in Kansas City. We put a deposit down on the vehicle and drove there 5 days later. Now for a older car with 160ish k miles I expected to see some scratches and small dents. That stuff is to be expected. When I arrived the corners of the back bumper were extremely damaged and this was not shown in photos or in the angle they were taken. When I pointed out the damage the sales person said he did not see the damage and had not walked around the vehicle. In 5 days no one walked around the car we put a deposit on and said hey since you are driving so far I want to make sure you are aware of the bumper damage. The sales person’s response to me verbatim was “yeah that’s my bad”. Extremely disappointed I took time off work drove 4 hours and $100 in gas. Again I didn’t not expect this to be a perfect looking vehicle but for sales to not even look at the car within 5 days after taking a deposit and for it not to be shown on the web or in the description is really upsetting.

I would not recommend this dealer.

Expect your car to be delivered on time? Expect it start 10 days after you buy it? Expect a call back if you have an issue? If you answered YES to any of the questions above, FIND ANOTHER DEALER. Worst customer experience I've had.

6th BMW! My hometown dealer

Have tried other dealers but BMW Tulsa has been consistently a class act. From service to sales, from perfect days to to oops days all has ended up quite well First, the staff are knowledgable , friendly and quite laid back. From driving the car to closing the deal the folks work hard to keep things smooth. The technology works better than ever in the new X3, smart folks at the dealer get you all hooked up and out pretty quickly. Spend the extra time to let them go over all the features. BMW's are a little more money but you do get something special . I like Honda and Acura as well for their virtues. The new 3 series is coming soon and goes back to its roots.

I would recommend this dealer.

I was interested in a BMW but had not driven modern car and was not familiar with the different packages and features. We test drove 5 different cars by the time I chose which one I wanted. The salesman was patient and helpful and was knowledgable on all the cars, steering me to the one I would eventually buy without trying to upsell me. We negotiated a deal that I was satisfied with. I also appreciated the "Genius" who gave me a crash course on using various features.

Worst Service Department Ever

I waited 30 minutes to see a service advisor for a scheduled appointment. Can you imagine owning a luxury car and becoming so frustrated that you finally just have to leave. This has been the typically experience over the past two years - delayed getting in to see an advisor, no update on car status, won't return calls on and on,.. When I first bought the car in 2011 the service seemed good, now I just cringe at the thought of having to take my car in for service. Again, the main problem seems to be understaffed or inexperienced service advisors, that result in extended wait times, they do not return your calls in a timely manner, hard to get updates on service status or an explanation of the service issues. The problem has definitely gotten worse in the last couple of years, with each succeeding service visit getting worse and worse. You really could not recommend BMW of Tulsa to anyone.
